Deconversion Underway at The Kent Chicago

In December of 2016, Strategic Properties completed its acquisition of The Kent (formerly Clark Place), in what is considered one of the biggest condo deconversions in Chicago. According to Crain’s Chicago Business, “It is possibly the biggest condo deconversion so far in Chicago—and a difficult one to pull off because Strategic had to deal with so many sellers.”

Since purchasing the Lincoln Park property, renovations have been underway to update the building’s 133 units and add brand new amenity spaces, such as all-new fitness center/yoga studio, lobby/lounge, bike room and pet spa, and community event space.
